Are the 1.3 Zhongli Buffs Enough? Jinx & Tuner On Stream Podcast | Genshin Impact
So Mihoyo has released details on the Zhongli buff being tested in the Genshin Impact 1.3 Beta test. Jinx & Tuner discussed these changes and how they’ll affect his power level. However, even with these changes we DO NOT RECOMMEND pulling for him right now. All of these changes and buffs are NOT FINAL. Meaning any investment into Zhongli right now is a gamble on these buffs making it to live.
Also, at least in Jinx’s opinion, these buffs are NOT ENOUGH to make him worth your primogems. They definitely make him more attractive as a tanky physical carry unit, which is honestly the wrong direction to take him in our opinion, but they aren’t enough to justify him as a Burst Support Unit in teams. At least for non whale levels of investment into him, 50% more shield is nice but its still only 10-11k at 30k HP, lvl 60/70, Talent Lvl 6. For late game content this is still only soaking at best 2 hits with chip dmg.
